We are a nonprofit committed to developing impactful philanthropic projects designed to enrich the Omaha community.

Founded in 1989 by local leaders Walter Scott, Jr., Robert B. Daugherty, and Willis A. Strauss, our organization was originally developed to support the capital needs of the Joslyn Art Museum and the Western Heritage Museum (now The Durham Museum). Today, Heritage identifies substantial needs or opportunities with high community impact and supports the realization of viable and sustainable civic projects.

We provide support to local organizations and initiatives through:

Due Diligence & Feasibility Studies

Capital Campaign Leadership

Building Design & Construction Project Facilitation

Multi-Stakeholder Engagement

Institutional & Organizational Development

Each project is a reflection of our deep commitment to building a better Omaha and our dedication to thoughtful donor stewardship.
